Asheville! On SATURDAY, JUNE 15, we’re kicking off summer with FREE live music from 2-9pm, plus a new Hillman beer. Summer Crush Appalachian Ale releases in cans and on draft at open, and we’ll be jamming with two of Asheville’s finest throughout the day: Drew Matulich & Friends from 2-5pm, and Rahm Squad from 6-9pm! DREW MATULICH & FRIENDS (2-5pm)
Drew Matulich is a multi-instrumentalist who started at the age of 8 and has been playing guitar for 30 years. With a strong focus on Bluegrass, Blues, Rock, Swing and Jazz, he has dedicated the majority of his life to the study and performance of music through the guitar.
He toured the country playing music professionally with Billy Strings for two years and was fortunate to have shared the stage with the likes of David Grisman, Bryan Sutton, Sam Bush, Cody Kilby, Sierra Hull and some of best in Bluegrass.
RAHM SQUAD (6-9pm)
Rahm Squad is the heart-and-brain child of Asheville-based composer/singer-songwriter/guitarist Ram Mandelkorn. Blending elements of world-music, indie-rock and lo-fi soul.
SUMMER CRUSH: This crisp summer ale is a happy accident that just keeps on giving. Originally it was an accidentally dry-hopped Kolsch, but this year we did it on purpose! It has the malt profile of a Kolsch, yeast of a Pale ale, and the hoppiness of an IPA, so whether you call it a dry-hopped Kolsch, a Pale Ale or, even, an IPL, you’d be mostly right. Just drink it and stop worrying about the style. Available on draft and in 4 packs to-go!
