Draft Line Troubleshoot SOP

Step by Step troubleshooting for problems with the draft pouring quality.

Procedure

  1. If no beer at all is coming out of the taps:

Check CO2/Nitro is turned on at blender box

If yes:

Check Keg Regulator in draft cooler: do they have pressure?  Should be 25-30 PSI

If yes:

Call Brad

If no:

Check Bulk CO2 and Buld Nitro tanks. If both regulators are at zero need to call Walter @ Andy Oxy 828-551-6802

  1. If beer is all foamy

Did someone just change a keg?  Sometimes takes 5-8 pitchers worth to clear the beer.

Still foamy:

Check chiller temps- should be 32-40 degrees.  BMV the chiller is in the back left corner of kitchen under the Nitro/CO2 blender box.  Old Fort there are 2 chillers on the roof of the draft cooler and you can see the temp while standing on the ramp.

If temps are higher than this number contact maintenance or Brad.

If temps are good check cooler temp, should be below 42 degrees.

If temps are higher than this number contact maintenance or Brad.

If they are good check keg regulators – should be 25- 30 psi

If they are low or zero check Nitro/CO2 tanks – see section 1 on this form.
